MenopauseMenu is now one year old!
It started as my creative “passion project” launched on September 19th 2020 during challenging times in our world-wide pandemic, and remains FREE to all and a place for ALL to enjoy.
I am proud that this website serves as an evolving resource for everyone to learn more about “all things menopause” –– from premenopausal mood issues and irritability, to perimenopausal hot flashes and night sweats, and beyond to postmenopausal energy issues, musculoskeletal changes and sleep disruption.
I am also humbled by the collaborative efforts that continue to blossom, including guest blog posts from many different disciplines and international live video chats –– hello England!
Even with amazingly supportive feedback from so many of you, I truly feel that I am “just getting started.” My sights are set on bigger and better, so what better time than now to make three fun announcements!
1
You asked and I listened. You can now enter your email address to subscribe to updates from MenopauseMenu. You will be notified every time a new blog is posted in any of the three sections: From the Blog, Featured Video, and Menu Choice.
When reading a post, just look to the lower right side bar (or scroll to the end if you are on your phone) and you’ll see the box to enter your email. Mailchimp will then handle the rest and, of course, your information is safe with me and you can unsubscribe at any time. Be sure to check your Junk/Spam folder just in case messages end up there at first.

Just as exciting is the news that I am currently writing a book based on MenopauseMenu. I can’t give any secrets away just yet, but I can leave you with a teaser and a quote!
The Teaser: It is an adult coffee table book on menopause and beyond.
The Quote:
In this book you will find that each section has a cup of evidence-based information, a generous tablespoon of holistic support, with a sprinkle of whimsy. Well, some sections have a bit more whimsy than others…

My third announcement is huge. Many of you know I resigned this past April from my full time Internal Medicine practice of 25 years to “refresh and renew.”
I am proud to share that I am starting the process of forming a new virtual business of my own, and will hopefully have more details to reveal by early 2022. Send me a message if you are interested in being part of a focus group in the next month via email survey or phone call, depending on your preference. I am excited!
As Autumn is now upon us I wish for good health, happiness and success in all aspects of our personal and professional (or retired) lives. I look forward to continued information sharing about the menopausal journey and other facets of aging that pertain to all of us but especially to women and those who love them.
Most sincerely,
Susan
