Shishito peppers are truly the perfect appetizer – they are both flavorful and satisfying. Grill outdoors or use stovetop grill pan over high heat, charring slightly in EVOO with generous pinch of finishing salt. Use whatever dip you have around – this time we used Bull-Dog sauce (vegetable & fruit Tonkatsu sauce) sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds. Sweet & savory taste buds are both delighted. Yum!
