This was first posted July 30, 2022—now with a haiku at the end.
Whether you are . . .
- starting a new business,
- starting a new exercise routine,
- beginning a new job, or
- contemplating a life change
. . . you just have to start somewhere.
Don’t be afraid if you veer off course—it is unlikely that you’ll end up in the ditch.
It’s okay if things are moving slower than you anticipated.
Many new endeavors take time.
Many people before you have also faced similar challenges. You are definitely not alone.
If you can’t see the end in sight, that is entirely normal.
The most important thing to remember is just to break ground—everything seems easier after the very first step.
Oh, and don’t forget to cultivate your sense of humor!
A haiku for you:
Ditch the Bell curve now.
Okay is the new just right.
I believe in you.
