As all of us age, we often become more concerned about how to access medical care. This can become a problem for everyone, not just those who are going through menopause. It becomes even more important to understand what kind of medical care is available. Transparency and safety become of paramount importance.
I was honored to write an essay that was just published by the Washington State Medical Association. You can read the electronic version here (Physicians for Patient Protection).
Please know I am very supportive of all who work in the medical field, but it really is imperative that we feel comfortable asking basic questions of those who care for us, even in urgent and emergent situations.
Words matter. Please pass the link to this blog post on to others to share this knowledge. MenopauseMenu remains a resource for all, and I appreciate the share.
