The journey through menopause is filled with juxtapositions.
Fertility and loss of fertility.
Periods and absence of periods.
Suppleness and dryness.
There are so many more!
The challenge comes in balancing these changes without focusing on loss or resenting an unwanted new symptom. Knowledge is power, and access to evidence-based data is of the utmost importance. So, too, is adding in holistic support.

Today the weather was quite frosty for Seattle and it was refreshing to see stark contrasts on my neighborhood walk. The ground was still partly frozen, even by noon, but the flowers and buds were surprisingly vivid, popping up everywhere in the anticipation of warmer weather to come.
It doesn’t have to be either-or, and nature reminds us regularly.
